Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur join the mix at Puig.
Smaller niche fragrance brands seem to be the latest beauty commodity to be scooped up by global prestige players. At the end of 2014, The Estée Lauder Companies bought Le Labo and Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle in a string of new portfolio additions.

Puig has also recently added to its holdings in the high-end fragrance industry, acquiring Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur, from Fox Paine & Company, LLC. Penhaligon’s was established in 1870 and holds two Royal Warrants, a symbol of quality and excellence—and gorgeous packaging. Its most iconic fragrance is Blenheim Bouquet, created in 1902 for the Duke of Marlborough.
L’Artisan Parfumeur works with its own craftsmen to create authentic perfumes. The company operates retail boutiques in France.

Prada, Nina Ricci and Carolina Herrara are among Puig’s prestige fragrance holdings.
